As an appointed representative, you work as a self-employed broker, building your own client base and working hours to suit. You’ll be representing Commercial Expert, but you’ll still have the independence that comes with running your own business.

As an authorised representative of Commercial Expert, you won’t need to become directly authorised with the FCA or worry about the risk and costs associated with this, leaving you with the freedom and flexibility to do what you do best.
Plus, you’ll have a fantastic team to support you when you just need that second opinion or someone to act as a sounding board. And with our robust processes and established relationships with lenders, you’ll have a solid foundation to work from.

Who we’re looking for
We like to think of ourselves as a family at Commercial Expert, so we aren’t looking for just anyone.
But if the following applies, then we’d love to hear from you.
Ideally, you’ll have a CeMap, ACIB qualification or similar, but you don’t have to be from a commercial finance background.

If you fit the above criteria, then we’d love to chat, no matter where you’re located. But we’re particularly interested in placing appointed representatives in the following areas:
- North Yorkshire
- South Yorkshire
- Tyne & Wear
Who you’ll be helping
Many of our clients are introduced to us by mortgage advisers, financial advisers, accountants, insolvency practitioners and other professional service providers.
They trust us to deliver exceptional service and fill the gaps in business finance that they can’t.
You’ll also get clients coming to you direct – either as a result of your local networking efforts or via our central marketing activities. Many of these are property-related – business owners, property investors or developers who want help securing the right mortgage or loan.
Some are confused about the type of funding they need; some have been rejected by traditional lenders; some have a unique or unusual requirement. Most simply want someone to take away the headache of searching the market for the best terms.
Whoever your clients are, whatever their needs and however they find you, you’ll be expected to deliver the same great service every time. We want you to go to bed at the end of the day knowing you acted in the best interests of your clients.
