Describing the Commercial Expert team as ‘industrious’, she loves the job satisfaction that comes when a deal completes.

Before joining Commercial Expert in 2018, I worked in banking for 18 years and as a teaching assistant for 12. The best things about being part of the Commercial Expert team are the satisfaction (and relief) when a deal completes for a client, and the support and common goals I share with my colleagues.

My favourite client success story is a client whose home was also a large holiday let. They had to close whilst they did a full refurbishment, borrowing the money on a bridging loan. Another broker let them down, and the bridge was coming to an end with no exit in sight. The client was running out of money and struggling to pay the existing mortgage and the bridging loan. We helped them get a new deal, with a great rate, liaising closely with clients, solicitors and the lender to get the deal done and save their property.

That’s the kind of success story that makes me proud to be part of the Commercial Expert team. And when I’m not at work helping clients get great rates, I love spending time outdoors – walking, picnics, beach, countryside or beer garden!
